Here are some pics I was able to take of my Lilly yesterday. 

I hope to be just like her when I grow up.

Lilly is a two year old Bernese Mountain Dog. 

Weighing in at 110 lbs and 5' long, when she stretches out on the carpet.  She is kind, gentle, very mellow and rarely barks. 

She likes all kinds of dogs but seems to favor the little ones the best. 

She is very gentle with them, letting them climb on her and pull on her tail. 

They love to run between and around her legs. 

She would have made a very good mother.  

She is in the "working class" so she is not into speed or duration. 

Lilly would rather sit next to me, chew on a stick and observe. 

All the neighbors know her and it is not uncommon for total strangers to pull over and ask what kind of dog she is or to tell us how beautiful she is. 

I can't imagine life without her.
